The Seraphim & Archangel Michael, and the Boddhisattva Manjusri ~

The Bodhisattva Manjushri from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition dispels all Ignorance from our hearts and minds. Consequently, Manjushri equates with the Seraphim and Archangel Michael as he does the same.

So let us ask that all ignorance be lifted from our minds, and from those who are limited in their understanding by it.

In Tibetan Buddhism, one calls upon the Medicine Buddha when they are in need of Spiritual healing and insight .... In both Judaism and Christianity , the very same would be given us through the Seraphim and Archangel Raphael.

Cherubim ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Hebrew term cherubim is cognate with the Assyrian term karabu, Akkadian term kuribu, and Babylonian term karabu; the Assyrian term means 'great, mighty', but the Akkadian and Babylonian cognates mean 'propitious, blessed' Early Semitic tradition conceived the cherubim as guardians, being devoid of human feelings, and holding a duty both to represent the G-D and to guard sanctuaries from intruders. Cherubim are described as acting as the chariot of the LORD in Ezekiel's visions, the Books of Samuel, the parallel passages in the later Book of Chronicles, and passages in the early Psalms: "and he rode upon a cherub and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind". The first appearance of Cherubims in the Bible was after the man was driven from the garden: Genesis 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. (A.V.1611) The definitive book in the Bible on Cherubims is the Book of Ezekiel. When they first appear in chapter one, when Ezekiel was "by the river Chebar", they are not called cherubims, but he saw "the likeness of four living creatures". (Ezekiel 1:5) Each of them had four faces and four wings, with straight feet with a sole like the sole of a calf's foot, and "hands of a man" under their wings. Each had four faces: The face of a man, the face of a lion on the right side, the face of an ox on the left side, and the face of an eagle. (Ezekiel 1:6-10) The words Cherub and Cherubims appear many other times in the holy scriptures, referring to the Cherubims of beaten gold on the mercy seat of the ark of the covenant, and images on the curtains of the tabernacle, and in Solomon's temple, including two Cherubims made of olive wood overlaid with gold that were ten cubits high. Cherubim are often represented with the faces of a lion, ox, eagle, and man peering out from the center of an array of four wings (Ezekiel 1:5-11, 10:12,21 Revelation 4:8); (seraphim have six); the most frequently encountered descriptor applied to cherubim in Christianity is many-eyed, and in depictions the wings are often shown covered with a multitude of eyes (showing them to be all seeing beings).

Seraphim ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A seraph (pl. seraphim ( /ˈsɛr.ə.fɪm/[1]); Hebrew: שְׂרָפִים śərāfîm, singular שָׂרָף śārāf; Latin: seraphi[m], singular seraph[us]; Greek: σεραφείμ) is a type of celestial or heavenly being in the Abrahamic religions. Seraphim means "burning ones". They are so bright that no one look upon them, including other angels. It is said that whoever lays eyes on a Seraph, he would instantly be incinerated due to the immense brightness of the Seraph. An alternate translation, "fiery serpent" likely comes from burning sensation of venom, and are mentioned in conjunction with cherubs as the heavenly creatures standing nearest to the throne of God. They are described as very tall, with six wings; two covering the face, two covering the body, and two for flying, according to Isaiah 6; and four heads, one for of the cardinal directions. Purposefully, they worship God and call attention to His majesty. They continuously shout, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts. All the earth is filled with His Glory," which is called the Trisagion in the Greek Orthodox Church. There are four seraphim princes that stand by the throne of God. One seraph named Seraphiel, is said to have the head of an eagle. Lucifer may also have been a seraph before his fall.
